Archery
Montecito Sequoia Lodge is a member of the Camp Archery Association, and is entitled to award CAA diplomas and awards to Summer Family Camp campers who complete the resort’s archery program. “Sight method” is taught, and archers of all abilities enjoy our four staggered targets. Field archery and novelty shoots are also offered.

Arts & Crafts
Indulge your creative spirit! Learn how to face paint, tie-dye, paint t-shirts, macramé, scrapbook, make beaded jewelry, artificial flowers, candles – and lots more.

Astronomy
Explore the clear mountain sky with our knowledgeable staff members. Thanks to a generous donation from JPL/NASA, Montecito Sequoia Lodge has a computer-controlled Meade telescope for viewing the night sky and a Coronado solar telescope to observe the sun. With our high elevation and low light pollution, the stars shine brighter at Montecito Sequoia Lodge.

Boating
Glide around lovely Lake Homavalo in a canoe! Life jackets are required for all boaters.

Children's Program
We hire counseling staff to instruct children in canoeing, tennis, archery, riflery, nature, rock climbing, music, and arts and crafts. We have programming for children ages 5-11. Programs are developed to fit group size and ages.

Guided Nature Hikes
Join a naturalist for a guided hike into the glorious Sierra Nevada. Hikes cover distances from one to fourteen miles and range from easy to strenuous. You may encounter a rushing waterfall or a breathtaking vista. Beautiful scenery is guaranteed!

Mountain Biking
Montecito Sequoia Lodge offers morning, afternoon or full-day guided mountains bike rides on trails in Sequoia National Forest. We have plenty of 20-gear professional mountain bikes available for rent.

Rock Climbing
Our ten-foot vertical climbing wall will challenge all climbers, from beginners to advanced. Let our skilled instructors teach you climb successfully. Come enjoy a controlled climb set against a majestic view of the Great Western Divide.

Tennis
Montecito Sequoia Lodge offers 2 tennis courts for guest use.  Tennis equipment is available for all guest wanting to give tennis a try or bring your own like the pros do!

Yoga Classes
Our yoga classes are popular with people of all ages. There’s nothing like an early morning workout with our certified yoga instructor to get you ready to face the day.

Relaxing
You won’t need an instructor! Unwind by the fireplace with a good book, play a game of chess or checkers, challenge a friend to a table tennis match, lounge in our 10-jet spa, gather ‘round the campfire, grab a drink at the Pine Box Bar, take a hike . . . there’s always something to do at Montecito Sequoia Lodge!
